TBD.com · the team behind TVToday

We build hyperlocal tools that help neighbors find something to do — and actually go do it.

TVToday is the storefront. The engine underneath is the product: it takes any town’s scattered, buried event listings and turns them into something residents actually open — and act on. Point it at a new community’s feed, and the same experience assembles around their events.

What we optimize for

One thing: community engagement.

Not clicks. Not “time on site” for its own sake. Not your attention as a product to resell.

  • We don’t sell your information.
  • We don’t track you around the web.
  • We don’t run ads or spy on what you do.

We’re trying to do the opposite of most of the internet: get you off the screen and into the room — to a class, a club, a concert, a pickleball game, a meetup down the street.

Why that’s the whole game

When you show up to something local, everyone wins. That alignment isn’t a slogan — it’s the entire business model.

Your community wins

Events fill up. Organizers stay motivated to keep putting them on. Neighbors meet neighbors, and the place feels more alive.

You win

You’re connected, active, and part of something instead of scrolling alone. The best nights out are the ones you almost didn’t know about.

We win

A service that genuinely helps people show up is one worth paying for. We only do well when you actually engage with the community around you.

How it works

Every community publishes its events somewhere — a calendar, a feed, a bulletin board. The problem is almost never a lack of things to do. It’s that they’re buried, scattered, and hard to act on. The engine takes that raw local feed and turns it into something residents actually open — and it does it the same way in any town. Here’s what it builds:

  • Event cards built to be scanned, not slogged through — so you can size up a whole evening in a few seconds.
  • Imagery and atmosphere that let you feel what an event will be like, not just read about it.
  • One tap to the venue — where it is, what else is happening there, and who’s behind it.
  • Smart suggestions — other events you’d probably like, and other places hosting similar things.
  • No dead ends — search in plain language (a vibe, a time, an activity) and we’ll find it; if it isn’t on the calendar right now we’ll still tell you when it last happened and point you to what’s coming up nearby, instead of a blank “nothing found.”
  • Filters that match how people actually think — by mood, by time of day, by what’s near you, whether you tap or type.
  • A mobile view for life on the go — the whole experience fits in your pocket, so you can see what’s happening while you’re already out.

And we meet you wherever you want to receive it. The goal never changes: help you find the thing, and make it effortless to go.

Bring this to your community

TVToday shows what this looks like in practice. The engine underneath it isn’t tied to any one place — point it at your community’s event feed and we can build the same experience around it.

If you help run a community — a town, a chamber, an HOA, a downtown association — or you just wish your area had this, we’d love to talk.
