Watch the town squares, live, right on the map

Before you load up the cart and drive over, wouldn't it be nice to peek? Is the square packed or quiet? Is the band already playing? Is it actually raining over there, or just here? Now you can just look.

The town squares' live cameras are now on the map - little camera markers right where each square is. Tap one and the live stream starts playing right there in the popup. No app, no new tab, no hunting around.

What you can watch

The cameras cover the squares you'd expect:

• Brownwood Paddock Square (a couple of angles)
• Spanish Springs Town Square
• Lake Sumter Landing Market Square
• Sawgrass Grove
• Eastport

Each one is a live view straight from The Villages' own cameras, so what you see is what's happening right now.

Two ways to find them

• Look at the map. The camera markers are always there - tap one and watch.
• Search. Type live cam or webcam into the search box and a banner points you straight to the cameras on the map.

It works just as well on your phone as on your computer, so you can check the square from the couch, the lanai, or the first tee.
