And it may not be every event: usually only the next couple of weeks are shown, so the calendar fills in as new events are announced. Think of it as a helpful head start, not a complete or official schedule.

How fresh this stays depends on your calendar app, not just us: Apple Calendar asks how often to refresh when you subscribe; Google Calendar refreshes on its own schedule and can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to first show events or pick up changes. So a short delay is normal, not a bug - and for anything time-sensitive, confirm with the venue. And then there's our end of it: to keep the servers healthy, fetching the data too often can get an app (or IP) rate-limited - so the whole thing gets a bit complicated, and this may stay in beta mode for some time.
