Credits & licenses

GoWhatWhere is built on open data and open-source software. We're grateful to the projects and datasets below, and we credit them here as their licenses ask. Where we use data, we adapt and summarize it for display.

Data

• Weather — current conditions and forecasts from Open-Meteo, used under CC BY 4.0. Data is adapted (summarized into a single daily outlook).
• Maps — map tiles and geographic data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
• Event listings — aggregated from publicly available community calendars, then normalized and re-described in our own words.

Software

• Leaflet 1.9.4 (interactive maps) — BSD 2-Clause.
• Leaflet.markercluster (map pin clustering) — MIT licence.
