Villages Canoe and Kayak Club

Paddlers' club for canoe and kayak fans, running group trips every month all year long. Outings balance easy and more challenging routes within about a 90-minute drive, most members bring their own boats, and the current trip schedule lives on Meetup. Open to residents with a valid Villages ID; dues are just $15 a year.

• Meets: Club meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at Colony Cottage Recreation Center (no meetings in June, July, or August). Group paddle trips run year-round.
